Invite a Colleague features are available in Event Settings to allow people who have registered for your event to promote the event to their friends.
Once people have registered for your event, they will see an option: Invite a Colleague in the pop-up dialogue.
After that, the system will ask them to enter the email address of the person that they would like to invite. They can enter up to 5 email addresses.
Once they have completed the process, the system will automatically send the email to the email address that the participant has entered.
Additional Notes:
1. The sender email for the email sent will be: support@evenesis.com
2. All the tagging that is available in the email editor will not work when email is sent out. Do not add any tag in your email template
3. You will have to create an email template (Email Type: EDM) before you activate the feature. Please include your registration form link in the email template that you going to use.
4. The feature is only for the Registration Form
5. You will not be able to track the email delivery records.
How to Activate It?
You may find the option to activate it in the Event Details >> Settings >> Registration Site Options
However, before you turn it on, we strongly advise you to create an email template (Template Type: EDM), as you will need to assign an email template when you activate the feature.
Once you have created the email template (Email Type: EDM), you may turn on the feature in Event Details >> Settings >> Registration Site Options and select the email template. Once you have assigned the email template, you can Save your setting.
